Child safety is always our priority

Parents around the world have one thing in common: They all share the same concern for the safety of their children. Particularly in the car, this is a topic where compromise is simply not an option.

To help parents choose the right car seat or baby carrier for their children, standards have been implemented across the world. In Europe, seat manufacturers currently must comply with standards UN R44/04 or UN R129 (i-Size). Safety standards are also under constant review: the most recent UN norm is R129/03.

In addition to legal requirements, baby carriers and baby car seats are also checked and tested by independent testing institutes such as the General German Automobile Club (ADAC) and Stiftung Warentest. To emerge as the winner of such a test, products must meet stringent requirements in a variety of different categories.

CYBEX Awarded Baby and Child Brand of the Year 2024

London, May 2024 – PRESS RELEASE:

CYBEX is proud to announce that it has won the Baby and Child Brand of the Year at the 2024 Which? Awards.

This is the first year the parenting category has been added to these awards, making CYBEX currently the first and only award winner in the category from Which?. The brand has been recognised as the best in class for safety, protection, comfort and innovation for several of its products that have been rigorously tested and reviewed.

Every year, Which?’s expert researchers, assessors and testers rate brands from different fields as consistently high performers, and recognise the best during the awards event in London.

Anabel Hoult, Which? Chief Executive said:
“CYBEX was a clear choice as the winner of the first ever Which? Baby and Child Brand of the Year, thanks to its high number of Best Buys and high-scoring models, making it a reliable brand and a fantastic choice for parents. It’s a brand that doesn’t shy away from innovation.”
